Peter Abramenko returns to Faktura with a 90-minute cosmic journey.
On his fifth album, the musician from Chelyabinsk emphasized subtle emotions and introversion.

On "Space Odyssey" sound passages are stretched, distorted, like time and space. Low and medium frequencies dominate the music. Dark, massive tones and inhumanly vast spaces create a sense of infinite, unfathomable grandeur and beauty on the one hand, and loneliness and longing on the other.

Here's what Peter says about his album:

"I was driven to this music by images of an astronaut coming from somewhere, exploring space and distant planets. It's extremely important for him to find something. And I think it's important not only for him, but for all of humanity. It's not easy for him, of course. To be away from everyone, to be alone with himself, to be in emptiness most of the time, to observe, to almost feel emptiness, is unimaginably hard, but it is a necessity. You can go crazy that way, but maybe that's not such a bad thing. After all, having realized and comprehended emptiness (whether in the world around him or in himself), one realizes that normality is relative to the point of absurdity. At the same time, he feels like a witness to the beautiful; he feels like a man who has managed to touch the greatness of the universe, because on those distant planets and in outer space he sees many phenomena infinitely beautiful and previously unimaginable to him."

На своём пятом альбоме музыкант из Челябинска сделал акцент на тонких эмоциях и интроверсии.

Звуковые пассажи растягиваются, искажаются, как время и пространство. В музыке доминируют низкие и средние частоты. Темные, массивные тона и нечеловечески огромные пространства с одной стороны создают ощущение бесконечного, непостижимого величия и красоты, а с другой - одиночества и тоски.

Вот, что Пётр говорит о своём альбоме:

"На эту музыку меня подтолкнули приходящие откуда-то образы астронавта, исследующего космос и далёкие планеты. Ему чрезвычайно важно найти что-то. И, мне кажется, это важно не только для него, но и для всего человечества. Это дается ему, конечно, непросто. Быть вдали от всех, один на один с собой, большую часть времени пребывать в пустоте, наблюдать, почти ощущать пустоту, — это невообразимо тяжело, но это — необходимость. Так можно сойти с ума, но может это и не так плохо? В конце концов, осознав и постигнув пустоту (в окружающем ли мире или в себе), понимаешь, что норма до абсурда относительна. При этом он чувствует себя свидетелем прекрасного; он чувствует себя человеком, сумевшим прикоснуться к величию вселенной, ведь на тех дальних планетах и в космических пространствах он видит множество бесконечно прекрасных и прежде невообразимых для него явлений"
